Hear journalists and academics discuss how the industry is confronting threats and violence against news gatherers locally, nationally and globally. 

Panelists: 
Rosemary Armao, investigative editor and reporter, former University at Albany Journalism Program director, former executive director of Investigative Reporters and Editors. 

Ted Gup, journalist, professor, and author. Former investigative reporter for The Washington Post on Bob Woodward's team; Pulitzer finalist whose work has appeared in The New York Times, National Geographic, NPR, The Guardian, Mother Jones and more.

Ken Tingley, editor of Post-Star in Glens Falls for more than 20 years; "The Front Page" blogger.

Kathleen Phalen Tomaselli, documentary photographer, teacher, journalist at Post-Star who was threatened by a protester in October.

Moderator: Ken Lovett, former Daily News bureau chief.
